The Greasy Rabbit is a  grassroots organization promoting, demonstrating, evaluating, and consulting others about alternative energies.  Monies earnd through business ventures on this site  help maintain and expand projects which include equipment costs, insurance, registration, maitenance, web hosting, educational materials, printing, conference and event registration, training and travel.

 There have been several opportunities to demonstrate at fairs and other special events, but unable to afford registration fees and associated travel expenses (lodging and food).

Sponsorships, Donations, exchange in services

Can be in the form of products, services or monetary. In exchange, donor or sponsor will receive the following:

• Web site banner advertising of your business.
• Advertising on car - 5"h x10"w static vinyl graphic decal (one on each side of car).
• Advertising on biodiesel processor - 7"h x16"w static vinyl graphic decal.
• Advertising at presentations, demonstrations, and other events.

Services can also be provided in return, which may include web site design, hosting, site maitenance, FTP, domain registration, search engine optimization and related services.

Items in need:

• Storage tanks, hose, pump and related items.
  
• Vegetable Oil - used oil must not contain water or added chemicals and less than 3 months old. Can pick up within 20 mile radius of Bangor.
• Hot water heaters - electric, 40+ gallon capacity, clean and rust free.
• Diesel engine maitenance.
• Cold weather diesel products for biofuel testing down to -30 F.  Maine winters are great place for vendor cold weather testing.
  
• Demonstration or grassroots grants, scholarships.
